super hip beanie was designed to look so good on either a boy or a
girl (modeled here by my beautiful daughter). The vibrant color of
the ribbing and the top of the hat really pops against the gray and
white chevron stripes that make up the body of the hat. This hat fits
most kids sized 2T-5T, or if your kid has a giant dome like my son,
maybe even an 18 month old! </span></span>

Every now and then I will be posting some patterns for purchase so that I can fund my freebie designs! I love creating and sharing my patterns with everyone around the world, but I need lots of lovely lovely yarn to do so. By selling patterns occasionally, I hope to make some sweet-moolah so I can get some of that oh-so-sweet yarn and make more fun things to share with y'all.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">These bunnies are super fun and easy to make. They make the perfect gift for a tot. I designed them for my children as Easter gifts. I am really excited with how they came out. They are so much fun! </span><br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: SketchFlow Print;"><span style="font-size: medium;">A
petite cowl for cool and casual days. It's no fuss, just throw it
around your neck and go. It is small as the name describes and it is
a great project if you have a bit of yarn left over that you want to
create something out of. I made it using only one color, but this
stitch lends itself to be made up of many colors! It is a great stash
buster, you can use a different color for every row! Get creative
with it. It is so small and crochets up quick but looks great! This
cowl would also make a great last minute gift!</span></span></div>

designed this lil daisy granny square cowl with spring weather in
mind so it loosely drapes around the neck keeping the back of the
neck warm and keeps the front of the neck exposed to the cool spring
air. I made mine to look like blue skies and white daisies, but I can
imagine it would look great with just one color too so if you only
have one color handy, this project is still a-go! I hope you enjoy
making this pretty little thing as much as I enjoyed creating it! </span>

is worked bottom up and after the ribbing is made, the body of the
beanie is a repetition of 4 different rows. I hope you enjoy this

</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: SketchFlow Print;">**Repeat
R2 4 more times. This forms the ribbing so if you want your ribbing
longer or shorter make more or less repeats of R2 respectively**</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: SketchFlow Print;"><b>BODY</b></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: SketchFlow Print;">R1- ch3
and hdc in same st (makes first v-stitch), *skip next st, make
v-stitch in next st*around and join to 2nd ch of ch3 at
the beginning of row with sl st. (33 v-stitches)</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: SketchFlow Print;">R3- sl st
over one, ch3 and sc in same st (makes a tiny v-stitch in the middle
sc of 3sc group). *skip next 2 sts, in next st; sc, ch2, sc.* Make
sure you are always working in the middle sc of 3sc group. Join with
sl st to ch3.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: SketchFlow Print;">R4- sl st
over to first ch space, ch 2 and make 2 hdc in same ch space. In next
ch space and in each ch space around, make 3hdc. At the end of the
row, join with sl st to ch 2.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: SketchFlow Print;">Repeat
rows 1-4 3.5 more times (so ending on a R2). End with a sl st and
leave a long long tail for weaving the hat closed. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: SketchFlow Print;">You can
make the hat longer and more slouchier if you like, but I'd recommend
ending on a R2 to make stitching it up easier.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: SketchFlow Print;"><b>FINISHING</b></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: SketchFlow Print;">Using a
tapestry needle, weave through every other back loop of the last row.
Pull taunt and secure the hole closed with some stitches around the
top. Snip off the long tail and you're all finished! </span>

<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Let's get this party started!</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
</div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
<br /><b>R1</b> sc in each ch around, join with a
sl st. careful not to twist (64)</span><br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>R2 - R6</b> ch1, *hdcfp, hdcbp* around
and join with sl st. {These rows are ribbing}</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>R7</b> ch3 and hdc in same st (makes
first V-stitch), *skip next st, make V-stitch* around and join to ch3
with sl st. (32 V-Stitches)</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>R8 </b> sl st over to first gap between
legs of V-stitch, ch 3 and hdc in same gap (makes first v-stitch of
this row), *skip next gap, make v-stitch* around and join to ch 3
with sl st.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">**<b>Repeat R8</b> 15 times. Or until desired
slouchiness is achieved. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Each row will have 32 v-stitches, no decreases at all.</span>**</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">**tip--basically, you make a v-stitch inside the gap of the v-stitch on the previous round.**</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>Last R</b> sc in each st around and
finish with a sl st. Leave a super long tail for sewing.</span></div>

</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">**Using a tapestry needle weave the long
tail through the sc from the last row and pull taunt to close the top
of the hat. Weave in the ends and voila**
</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Easy peasy. </span></div>
